Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner- May 18, 2012

WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA CLUB ANNUAL MEETING, MAY 18, 2012,

6pm Social Hour followed by Dinner.

HIGH VISTA COUNTRY CLUB, 88 COUNTRY CLUB RD, MILLS RIVER. DIRECTIONS

TWO SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED.

$30 per person (member) $35 per person (non-member)

CLUB ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE DUE IN MAY, 2012 (this is our largest source of income for scholarships)

WNC Club & Scholarships

One of the great benefits to having a chartered alumni club is the ability to organize, promote, and award scholarships to deserving young women and men from the WNC area.

Your club awarded its first scholarship to Mary DeMaio from EAST Hendersonville High in 2008 from funds raised and maintained in our local account. Funds are available now for an eligible incoming freshman.

In addition, the club seeks to establish and endowed Fund at the University. A minimum of $50,000 is required and we presently have over $6,000 toward that goal.

As a club member you can participate in several ways by supporting our fundraising raffle, contributing to the endowed account, assisting the local college fairs, and recruiting.
